The Untold Story of RWB: A Street Racing Legend
What is RWB?
RWB is a bespoke Porsche tuner/retrofitter based in Japan. They often work on Porsche 911s. Customers take their cars to the shop in Chiba to have them tuned and customised. The owner, Nakai san, works on the cars personally, sometimes with the help of others. The cars are Nakai's as much as they are the customers', as he builds them according to what he believes is right for the customer. Clients include international Porsche owners, who fly Nakai over to work on their cars. Sometimes the build takes place on stage. Nakai likens it to being a magician. RWB has their origins in the 1990s, as a Toyota Corolla AE86 Sprinter GT APEX drift team. Carboy Doricon GP, video option, mountain drift, touge, tsukuba, hakone, ikaten, d1, orido, nob taniguchi. Nakai Holds his own race event called "idlers" at the Tsukuba circuit, where he races with porsches. Nakai also popularised camber in the 90s, as well as the ae86 eyelash style

Even though he’s known for being obsessed with porsches, nakai san typically owns 2 cars at a time. A Porsche, and a not Porsche. Right now, his not Porsche is a Mercedes. A list of his other not porsches include the ae86, kp61 starlet, Volkswagen (possibly beetle), sanitra? Idk what that is, classic mini when they weren’t classic but just old, some American cars, corolla sprinter, maybe Nissan, fake Porsche 356 speedster, various trucks and American cars
