In this video, I share what in my opinion is the best way to cook Swiss chard. This is a very easy Swiss chard recipe and you can use it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Swiss chard is very beneficial for your health, so I try to consume it every day. I do juice it on almost daily basis, but sometimes I prefer to cook it.
*Note: I don't think there are any side effects from eating Swiss chard because I have been either juicing it or cooking for over 2 years now almost every day.
For 2 servings you will need 5 or 6 medium Swiss chard leaves, 1 medium onion, 4 eggs, salt and olive oil.
Make sure to cook the stocks of the Swiss chard for 5 minutes before adding the leaves because they take a bit longer to cook.
So, cook the Swiss chard stocks in the olive oil for about 5 minutes. Then add the Swiss chard leaves and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the sliced onion and cook for another 10 minutes. Scramble the eggs and add them to the Swiss chard and to the golden-brown onions. Turn them over slowly until the eggs are fully cooked.
I hope you find my Swiss chard recipe delicious!
