i'll be honest- i don't really feel qualified to talk abt this one! maybe it's a good thing to have at least one DVGM that kinda speaks for itself
i want to see more people fight this boss. you'd be surprised how hard it is to find blind playthroughs of LISA: The Painful - Definitive Edition that actually show this whole sequence at all
well, okay, maybe you wouldn't. you really have to go out of your way for it, and i suspect "hey, do you wanna backtrack all the way to the very first campfire in the game so you can spend two and a half hours in an extended nightmare sequence and superboss fight that delve into the horrific nitty gritty of the protagonists literal mountain of sexual/physical/emotional abuse trauma and survivor's guilt" would be kind of a tough sell
that feels like a spoiler but it really isn't come to think of it! basically everything about the armstrong family is kinda spelled out in the "required reading" (read: the weird first game which most people won't poke you to play and will instead just like. tell you the gist of its story bc it's kind of expected that you'll be familiar with it) before you even GET to LISA: The Painful
also, fun fact: this was originally going to also include both Hunger and Marty, but the marty spider art wasn't really workin out... and i got lazy LOL. i think it's better this way, anyway
damn i feel like i cooked on this one visually. this and the last one hahaha
