Car Flies Off Expressway During Crash In Miami-Dade Florida, USA
A driver of a red Toyota and two other people in a BMW were taken to the hospital after a car fell off the Golden Glades Interchange overpass and onto Interstate 95 below, here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/8aDihsG4ytKmd...
According to FHP, the driver of a red Toyota sedan lost control while traveling north on the I-95 express lanes taking the exit ramp to State Road 7. The car then flew over the concrete barrier wall and fell onto the southbound lanes of I-95 below. It was then struck by a gray BMW that was traveling southbound on I-95.
The driver of the Toyota was extricated by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and transported to a trauma hospital.
This video includes a rescue truck driving away with the driver of the Toyota that fell off the expressway, video of the shredded Toyota and what appears to be its motor nearby, and the BMW that crashed into it after it fell. There is also an interview in Spanish with a guy who was almost crushed by the falling vehicle and had stopped further down the roadway in a Tesla.
FHP is investigating. This occurred on 08-26 early morning.
