Türkvizyon: Recap of All Winners (2013 - 2020) | Turkvision Song Contest Winners
In 2013, shortly after Turkey withdrew from the Eurovision Song Contest, the Türkvizyon Song Contest was founded. In a very similar format to its European counterpart, countries and regions with a significant ethnically Turkic population submit a song and compete for the win.
So far, four contests have taken place: in 2013, 2014, 2015 and most recently 2020 (online). Political tensions and scheduling issues have made it difficult for the contest organisers to plan new editions in the last few years. However, Eurovoix World recently reported that some signs point towards a fifth one being in the works for 2024!
