mixing buffings or base layer in a poured in place job site
This video shows a Trassig installer mixing base layer material (buffings) with a base layer binder. The base layer bags weigh 50 pounds and we typically mix two of them at the same time. As you can see the process is a bit dusty. You always want to put a tarp under your mortar mixer to protect the site. A large plastic wheelbarrow is needed to transport the mix to the person troweling.
