What Happened to Videogame Launches??
Next Gen consoles presented a host of new problems and terrible gaming experiences, but I don't think it ravaged anything quite like it did my excitement for the release of a new game. I hate buying new videogames. Publishers have lost all respect for their fans and consumers over the last decade leading to consistently terrible game launches and an inconceivable amount of HUGE day 1 patches. Not to mention next gen consoles ruined discs forever and forced us to install all of our games, physical copies or not, at a pathetic pace. My attitude toward game releases over the last decade has shifted from intense excitement and wonder to apprehension and aggravation. Thanks for hanging out with me, I'll see yah again next week.
