One of my favorite species to catch with a fly rod. Why? challenge. These are easily spookable fish and it takes a lot to get them to eat. Grass Carp in particular have been noted as one of the hardest fish to get to commit to a fly in the world. These statistics are possible because globally, Carp are the absolute #1 Game fish because they are fished by so many continents. And that brings me to this Video.
I wasn't able to fish for redfish or trout lately and the bass bite has slowed down with the post-spawn happening currently. This led me to pursue Carp for my last resort but its always fun
