Do you ever feel a pop in your hip when doing leg raises?

To get the most out of your abdominal work, the key is controlling both your ribcage and pelvis. When these central areas stay engaged, you’re in charge of how much motion you’re truly ready for. Think of lower-body movement as a game of inches — each inch only matters if you can keep your pelvis stable and your ribs connected.

A pop isn’t dangerous, but it’s often a sign you’ve nudged past the range you can control. Simply make the movement a little easier — reduce the range by an inch or two — and focus on refining your alignment so every rep is intentional and effective.
