Installing a New Boiler on Steam Locomotive C&NW
On September 26, 2019 the new boiler for Mid-Continent Railway Museum's steam locomotive, Chicago & North Western #1385 was delivered and installed on the locomotive's frame. The new boiler weighs 41,000 lbs. Work on the locomotive is taking place at a machine shop near Madison, Wis.
