Fail-safe:Capable of compensating automatically and safely for a
failure; guaranteed not to fail.

Failsafe is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their sound is a melting pot
of emotions ranging from metal, melancholy rock, and romantic
atmospheres. The sound of Failsafe is unlike any other.

Currently, Failsafe has completed a new 6 song EP which was
recorded and produced by Eric Delegard (Unloco, Bowling for Soup,
Jibe) of Reel Time Audio recordings located in Denton, TX. Guest
appearances include Matt Moseman, vocalist of the band Edgewater
(Wind-Up Records) on the track 'A Thieves Day'.

Failsafe began in late 1999. They started as a band whose only
goal was to play a style of music they could call their own and
gain as many fans as possible in the process. Since their
beginning it was only a few months before they started booking
shows in their hometown. Their first actual recording effort
entitled 'Shed' was recorded in 2001 and demos were made to be
given out for free to help build a strong dedicated fan base.
Shortly after that attendance increased more with every show.

'Shed' has sold over 1,500 copies in the Tulsa area and over 2,000
regionally at shows and through their website which receives an
average of 500-600 visits a month. After pushing the album in
their hometown, they decided to expand their fan-base in the
Midwest. They have played many venues throughout Texas, Missouri,
Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
Crowds and fans have continued to grow in all of these states.

Failsafe has played many shows opening for such national acts such
as Cold, American Head Charge, Ra, Hot Action Cop, Kittie,
Chimaira, 36 Crazyfists, Twelve Tribes, Candiria, 40 Below Summer,
Motograter, Soil, Tantric, Man Made God, Pulse Ultra, 3rd Strike,
Atreyu, 18 Visions, Shinedown, Quiet Riot, Hed P.E., Orgy, Fuel,
Weezer, Alien Ant Farm, and many others.
