LI boy from Dix Hills, born without a left hand, shows off new bionic arm
Meet Jordan Marotta.
The 5-year-old boy from Dix Hills was born without a left hand and is believed to be the youngest person in the world to have received a bionic hero arm, custom made as an “Iron Man” arm, from Open Bionics, based in the U.K.
Jordan, a huge sports fan, was honored at Stony Brook University by the both the school's basketball and baseball teams.
He also signed a letter of intent to play baseball right here in Stony Brook.
