CCD2: Design constructs for protein expression, the easy way
Structural biology projects require the generation of many protein
truncation constructs, a tedious and error-prone process. CCD2
(https://ccd.rhpc.nki.nl) is designed to simplify and expedite this task.
CCD2 can retrieve the DNA sequence coding for your protein, perform
sequence alignments, and then aggregate and visualize sequence
analysis information from many available tools. You can then use the
information to design the constructs you want, by clicking on the protein
sequence. CCD2 will automatically generate the PCR primers you need
to clone your constructs, and display useful information about the
resulting plasmids and protein products, all with a few clicks.
