So this was, like, supposed to be done a long time ago (for your birthday) but I did the whole song and it took literally forever lol. But now it’s done and I hope you like it. I really wanted to do something different for you, and I heard this song and not only were the lyrics perfect for these two but I couldn’t get over the fact that it’s Marinette’s voice actress singing. So I had a lot of fun editing this song.
The story is that Marinette and Adrien broke up and it’s doubly awkward because they’re antagonistic at school and still have to fight crime together. They try to get the other’s attention despite thinking it’s for the best that they broke up. They date other people; it doesn’t go well. In this, Adrien gave Mari a bracelet and she gives it back. Mutual pining and attention-seeking ensues. As time passes, they become more civil and it’s harder not to miss each other the way they used to be. They struggle against their own feelings, and finally, they accept them and consider getting back together.
Silence, I really appreciate our friendship. And I hope this shows it! I wanted to make something special with one of your fave shows. I do hope you like it. I hope it brightens up your holiday even if you have to work. I really enjoy our talks and getting to know you over the years has been awesome. Here’s to another year!
