This one is for Zoe and Hippy, who both like Annie, and Annie with Armin (who doesn't love the precious babies?), and who are both just really sweet, awesome people.
First of all, this song is too pretty. Big thanks to hydrazoite for introducing me to the band. And I remember thinking of Annie and Armin when I first heard it, because it has a gentle vibe I associate with how Armin talks to Annie. Plus the lyrics are quite fitting for them, so I thought now was a good time to do it, especially since I was os behind on Christmas presents and needed to do something that inspired me. So I am literally santa because I stayed up half the night making this thing, and then worked on it for all of this morning before we left for Christmas stuff. How I finished it, I don't even know, but it's done! xD
This is in Armin's point of view, except for the quote of Armin's, which Annie is remembering as she runs, although Armin replays in it his mind as well after realizing the Female Titan was Annie- and that she didn't kill him.
The beginning is supposed to be a mind-fuck, with him screaming at her that after all she's done no one could forgive her, no one could save her, no one could wait for her— but he'll wait for her.
Message for Zoe: I know you love Annie as much as I do, so here's some Annie x Armin for you. I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year with your friends and family. I am so excited to be collabing with you, and I know anything we make together will be awesome! I have really enjoyed chatting with you this year, and I hope we'll be able to talk even more this year. Keep being awesome! -hugs
Message for Hippy: Ah, my oldest friend here. I love that I can always talk to you, about anything, and you've never been anything but sweet to me, even when I message you in the middle of the night so we can be night owls together. Thank you for listening to my ants, always being one of the first to wish me a happy birthday, and continuing to support me in everything I do. I can't fully express how much I value our friendship, but I hope we'll have many more Christmases together so I can keep making you things. xD I love you, Hippy-chan! Have an amazing holiday!
