Garden Meatballs Recipe
This time, at Cocina con Sara, we're going to prepare a recipe for garden meatballs, a traditional homemade dish that we still make in our kitchens and that is very popular. There are many ways to make meatballs: in tomato sauce, with onions, with wine sauce, with mushrooms, among others. This recipe is ideal for making with children, as we can add vegetables that they'll enjoy alongside the meatballs.
You can add any vegetables you like best, but don't overdo it so they don't overpower the flavor of the vegetables. We used beef, but you can also make them with chicken or a mixture of beef and pork.

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
400 grams of minced meat
1 small egg
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
100 grams of flour
For the sauce:
2 small carrots or 1 large one
1 piece of red pepper
1 onion
100 grams of fresh or frozen peas
3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
2 garlic cloves
2 glasses of water or beef broth (600ml)
1 splash of olive oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
