Pine Tree Forests of Ooty nestled in the slopes of Nilgiris, the Pine Tree Forest is a grove of orderly growing pine trees that are several hundreds of years old. The woods overlooking the majestic view of the Nilgiris make for an ideal location to watch the mist rolling on and off the slopes and to gaze at the stars through the pinewoods at night.
Sunflower field in Gundlupet is located in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka bordering Kerala, India. It is a lush expansive farm filled with sunflowers and marigolds. Chief of the Army Staff General Kodendera Subayya Thimayya, Thimayya was the only Indian to command an Infantry brigade in battle during the Second World War and is regarded as the most distinguished combat officer the Indian Army has produced. General Thimayya's house "Sunny Side" in Madikeri has been converted into a museum and a war memorial.
Abbey Falls (also referred to as Abbi Falls) is a popular waterfall in Kodagu district. River Kaveri drops for about 70 ft over wide rocks creating a spectacular view.It is located 8 km from the Madikeri.
