Peer Gynt Suite: In the Hall of a Mountain King (Grieg)
Iconic orchestral music - a menacing piece known for it's buildup of intensity in a frantic chase to the end. This final movement of Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt, is used in pop culture, commercials, theme parks, and is often featured in Halloween concerts.
Performed at Skyward Symphony's "Autumn Serenade" on Tuesday, October 14th at Farmington High School. Peer Gynt Suite, No 1, Op 46, Mvt 4, Tanz in der Halle des Bergkonigs (In the Hall of a Mountain King), composed by Edvard Grieg.
