A torch and mirror can be invaluable when carrying out inspections.
As a young surveyor I was taught how to use a torch and mirror when carrying out surveys to see areas that may otherwise be difficult to access. I have been using this method for over 35 years and I still get great personal satisfaction when I discover defects that would otherwise have been missed. Without doubt my torch and mirror are two of the most useful pieces of equipment in my tool bag and they get used every day. I would highly recommend this method of inspection to any surveyor.
