The Summit Opens This Weekend!
🚨IT’S FINALLY TIME!🚨
If there’s anything we’re good at, it’s not letting the rain get us down. Thanks to this storm, over a foot of fresh has blanketed the slopes of Summit West, with even more on the way tomorrow. We plan to open for limited operations at Summit West this Saturday, Dec 9th. As usual, this special day is reserved for Summit passholders and Ikon passholders only. Our teams are hard at work preparing the mountain and can’t wait to see everyone back on the slopes.
Some important bits of info if you plan on riding this weekend:
⛷️ Caution: Thin Cover!
Remember, early season conditions exist, so be cautious! The fresh snow likely will not fully cover hazards or fill holes, it may just hide them. Conditions and coverage will be best on the main runs where our groomers have had a chance to work.
🏂 Opening Weekend Schedule
Summit West – Open 9am-4pm Saturday & Sunday
We plan to run Pacific Crest, Little Thunder, Julies, Dodge Ridge, and Upper Magic Carpet. Our team will aim to get Wildside open if conditions allow, however, there are no guarantees as the snow in the Wildside region still has a lot of openings from the atmospheric river that dropped 12” of rain on the mountain.

Raffle - Pick up your tickets from 9AM-1PM, drawing at 3PM
Dru Bru’s Launch Party for the Summit IPA - 1PM-4PM
Live Music - 2PM-4PM
Coat Drive! - All Day. For each coat donated, get an extra raffle ticket!
⛄ Wondering about the Summit Parks Boneyard? Unfortunately, this week’s rain decimated the snow we had planned to use to create the special early-season terrain park. If snow conditions permit we plan to have the Boneyard jib park open next Wednesday-Sunday. Watch for updates on Boneyard’s status on @summitparks.
❄️ Lift Tickets and Beyond
Lift ticket access will begin Sunday, December 10. After opening weekend the area will close Monday-Tuesday, operations Wed-Friday are currently TBD. We plan to evaluate weather/conditions after the weekend and will provide an update as soon as we can.
