Jennie, Bernard Leach’s Great Grandchild, has chosen a mug by Nick Chapman given to her by her Granny. Jennie loves this mug because of the fish decoration with its ‘almost imperceptible smile'.
‘Pottery & People’ is a collaborative online exhibition running throughout 2020 as part of the Leach Pottery’s centenary celebrations. It is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the ceramic objects in our homes, and the Leach Pottery encourages everyone to get involved. From your everyday mug, to a family heirloom, the Leach invites you to share the story of your favourite piece of pottery or ceramics.
