Enjoy the story :) It's 100% true. It just happened. I'm still shaking from it. lol
Update 9/14: It lives! After getting it appart at the shop, I discovered several disconnected wires in the control box. I patched all the wires, re-soldered the terminals, and replaced the speaker. The throttle is working, forward & reverse are working, powering up good, motor is turning with throttle, and the low/high headlight is now working. I'm still having an issue with the sound. I'm not sure if the sound card is fried or just not wired correctly. Bummer. I have some pieces to fix / replace, and some painting to do. Hopefully I can get that done on Friday.
