As the stakes escalate, with powerful individuals now at risk of investigation, and the people of Oldham (and now wider) grow in courage and numbers, refusing to remain silent on the grooming and gang rape of the nation's children, I was not at all surprised to find 3 Police Officers at my front gate this morning.
Multiple crimes have now been reported to the Police by myself and a wide range of respected members of our community. This includes a 32 year time served former police officers, a university lecturer and a senior civil servant.
This is a democracy. And in a democracy, the Police must act without fear or favour. They cannot be influenced or controlled by politicians.Will the Police investigate, or will they attempt to intimidate those that dare speak out?
