My Snapchat Ads (Maxbounty) were unsuccessful because of 4 reasons...
1. I didn't collect emails during my snapchat ad campaign. Building an email list is one of the things most people stressed on youtube and online but I decided to skip this anyway :) and I paid for it. An email list for your offer allows you to build a relationship with your leads and nurture them with VALUE until they are ready to buy. You also have multiple chances to try to make the sale with them even if they dont buy on your first "pitch email". If you don't collect emails you are essentially direct linking and hoping the customer will buy the product or service your promoting the FIRST time that they see it. This isn't very likely to happen, I managed to only get 1 sale out of 744 people that clicked through my landing page to the offer.

2. I increased my bids too drastically and too soon. I have a bad habit with running my snapchat ads, I check them constantly and edit them nervously lol. I had one adset that was performing well so I thought to myself "hey! this is great lets up the budget" and I increased my bid about 60% :). This wrecked the adsets performance. I later learned that drastically increasing your bid on snapchat ads is a no-no as it causes the algorithm to re-learn its audience at the new price. When scaling high performing adsets, ensure you scale horizontally by cloning/duplicating your winning combinations instead of scaling vertically by increasing your bids dramatically. Thank me later :)
3. I didn't split test my landing page and as a result my landing page had a conversion rate of 29.2%. Split testing your landing page involves duplicating the page and changing something on the page. This could be the headline, fonts, colors, button size all in an effort to increase conversions. Once you figure out which configuration works best for your audience, your funnel will be further optimized to maximize your ad spend.
4. Clickfunnels site speed is horrible. Snapchatters are frantic and will move on from your landing page if it takes too long to load. People on youtube don't talk about or don't realize how slow clickfunnels is. Do yourself a favor and head over to https://developers.google.com/speed/p... type your landing page URL in and see where it stands in terms of speed. This page will even give you tip on how to improve the speed of your page. Realize that even if your ad and landing page are stellar, it doesn't matter if people navigate away because the page is taking too long to load. For this reason I'm switching from clickfunnels to wordpress and thrive themes.
*BONUS* Another tip with running snapchat ad campaigns is to choose and offer that you can relate to. I ran into this issue when setting up my campaign specifically choosing the audience to target and how to set up my ads to convert. I'm not familiar with japanese snacks or the japanese culture. I had to do a good amount of research to
