My Thoughts on Earthworm Jim
I think this is one of the most difficult side-scrolling platformers on the Sega Genesis, well at least top 5 in my books. Earthworm Jim is quirky and fun with being challenging but not too challenging, you'll quickly learn its mechanics and not be too frustrated. Every level is completely different, there are no filler levels that drag on. Each level will definitely surprise with some sort of new obstacle and the bosses are all different as well. If you're up for a challenge then play Earthworm Jim!
Would You Recommend Someone To Earthworm Jim?
Absolutely! I find some side-scrolling platformers can get stale quite quickly but Earthworm Jim will keep you on the edge of your seat. I won't lie there will be some frustrating moments but what game doesn't have that?
What Was Your Favorite Level In Earthworm Jim?
Not so much a level that it was a boss for 3 rounds...that's right Snot a Problem was my favorite! It's something so different in a game that you'll never see, you're on a bungee cord and so is the boss and the goal is to knock the other person off of their bungee cord! It's a pretty insane idea and for 3 rounds the boss get's tougher!
What Was Your Least Favorite Level in Earthworm Jim?
For Pete's Sake was one of the worst for me hands down! It's a level where you have to guide your dog friend Pete safely back to his house but there are so many enemies and things in the way! If Pete falls or gets struck by an annoying obstacle he will turn into this hulking creature that will take a percentage of your health!
