Angles are hard. Especially if you don't have any jigs for extreme angles.
So, what do you do when you don't have a jig? Well, if your like me, you just cut the angle as close as you can get and use a belt sander to get it the rest of the way.
If you're doing precision work, a belt sander is hardly the way. But, for something temporary and utilitarian only, a belt sander will get you there!
For this project, my wifes chiropractor suggested she get a calf stretching slant board to help with her lower back issues. Slant boards can range from $30 to $100 or more. I just used some scrap wood and a $9 adhesive tread grip.
This slant board is angled at 30 degrees, and suits my wifes needs perfectly.
