Can I pick your brain on nose picking?
Anne-Claire Fabre is a biologist who specializes in functional morphology. When she was recording an Aye-Aye she was shocked when it stuck its incredibly long finger in its nose and started eating its snot. After recovering from the shock and surprise she started paying attention to other animals and it turns out that not only human children eat snot! Snot eating may be poor etiquette, but when you pay close attention you see that all kinds of animals eat their snot!
