Ukraine 2024 Donor Coordination Workshop

Our Ukraine Donor Coordination Workshop #DemineUkraine was co-organised with Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and took place between 17-18 April 2024.
The workshop centered on the monumental issue of mine action in one of the most landmine and other explosive ordnance-contaminated countries in the world, where 6 million people are living at risk. Participants from the humanitarian demining sector at both national and international levels shared: practical tools, valuable guidance and good practices to address and manage explosive ordnance risk and accelerate progress for Ukrainians in safe, efficient, and effective ways.

-Progress achieved so far to deal with the massive
explosive ordnance contamination
-A shared way forward under Ukraine’s national mine
action strategy and its implementation plan
-Sustainable finance and building frameworks where
innovation can thrive
Connecting the dots between national needs and
international support.
