Narrow channels are carved into Melt and Pour soap using clay tools. Soap mica colorants combined with alcohol easily flow into these narrow channels. Then, the top of the holes can be covered with clear melt and pour soap. This is one way color can be inserted into clear melt and pour soap to give many interesting designs. Here I show how I dig holes then inject color into 2 balls of clear melt and pour soap to resemble retro marbles. You can make so many different designs by digging out various holes with different clay sculpting tools and inserting color into these holes. I show a few of some of the other marble designs I have made as well. This technique could also be explored for Christmas ornaments, planet type designs and true to life opal soaps.
