Is the Fairly Oddparents Reboot Doomed?
Nickelodeon’s Fairly Oddparents is back! Sorta. Cosmo and Wanda are going to be taking care of Hazel. The good news is this will be more in Fairly Oddparents’ style than the live action movie which flopped big time . The bad news is Nick reboots don’t have the best track record
Where will this rank among other Nickelodeon reboots? The Rugrats reboot ran for a couple seasons before being dumped unceremoniously by paramount+ fortunately the fairly Oddparents reboot will be on Netflix
Also getting the Paramount axe was the Are you afraid of the dark reboot. This one bit the dust just 13 episodes in.
Live action Avatar the last airbender may be a better comparison since it’s on Netflix. Its doing well there too, already renewed for a second and third season
