During the Lucien Séguy Technical Day in Nevers in September 2024, Alexis Ammeux, a farmer and potato producer in northern France, tells us about his farm's shift to direct seeding. He shows us how he modified his tools and introduced cover crops into his rotation, including a large cover crop that remains in place for eight months. He explains what he observes in the soil, his yields, and the quality of his potatoes today.
