Q: Why did you use this character for this cover?
A: The Wario Apparition is a combination of a creepypasta, theory, and beta content. Speaking of theories and, The Wario Apparition is theorized where every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalized. Therefore, this is the reason why I used Mephiles for this cover, not just Mephiles from 06 but the fan theories that have been made. This version of Mephiles mainly bases the theories "Mephiles is Satan" and "Mephiles is the Time Eater", though this theories and rumors aren't very popular but the entry was mostly in Sonic Iceberg charts.
Mephiles the Dark is one of the primary antagonist of the Sonic series, and is known for being the only character to successfully killed Sonic and Shadow's major rival. However, fans spotted interesting topics surrounding the character such as him being Satan or him being The Time Eater.
