In addition to getting benefits for healing my injury, I forgot to mention in the video that I am also noticing that it is helping me improve my mood and energy levels. I feel a buzz similar to the buzz after acupuncture sessions right after I get up from the mat. I just recently moved to a new city and I have been emotional about the change. When I use the mat I feel relaxed yet my usual inspired and enthusiastic self. All in all I workout earlier in the morning because I cannot wait to get on the mat. It is somewhat of an intense feeling because it is sharp but at the same time, it is invigorating. I feel that it is helping me improve digestion and water removing in the ways that I am using it. So I feel it is a great tool for healing injuries and pain. It improves circulation and blood flow to the area. It is great for insomnia, back pain, shoulder pain, groin injuries in my case. Great for hip flexor, iliopsoas, pelvic alignment tool. Great for stress reduction and also it is energizing and it helps me with an inspired mood for the day which is an ARIES, Pitta quality for me. Totally 200% recommended! In addition, the loose skin that is normal and typical after pregnancy seems to benefit from the direct acupressure massage on the belly. Right now this is my most favorite tool I use at home.
