Akademisches 2019 Onboard - best lap of the day
"Das Akademische" as the track day event organised by the "Akademische Motorsportgruppe Stuttgart e.V." is called, takes place at the Hockenheimring every year in November. That is why the weather is always kinda sketchy and thick fog delayed the morning sessions. This video is my best lap from the afternoon session (1:47,3 IDM-Variante). My friend Dani was riding shotgun to help warm up the tires a bit more and stress the brakes until they started glowing while braking into turn 1 :D
Car is a BMW E36 M3 S50B30 on Federal RSR 595 (kinda old and worn tires but they worked out surprisingly well under the mixed conditions).
