This is Part 12 of my True Smart Money Concepts (SMC) video course — and in this session, I broke down the difference between Major and Minor Inducement (IDM) using a real chart. Both are forms of liquidity resting above or below the most recent valid pullback in an impulsive move — but a Major IDM occurs after a break of structure, while a Minor IDM occurs before a break of structure. Just like in language, Major holds more weight than Minor — and in trading, that means Major IDM is more impactful and reliable. This session is all about helping you visually spot and understand these differences, so you can make more accurate decisions in your trading. In the next part, we’ll dive deeper into why choosing Major over Minor IDM when placing trades gives you the best edge.
