Introducing SourceHer
The visibility of women in the media remains low, resulting in continued under-representation of their narratives and development perspectives. Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), in collaboration with the African Women in Media (AWiM) have developed a platform, SourceHer, that seeks to help journalists connect with women experts with the aim of helping amplify the voices of women in different fields through the media. Now it's easier for journalists across Africa to connect to women experts, while women experts are also able to get in touch with journalists to tell their stories.
