About The Album:
Released six months after the first album "The First Flame", it takes the elements that worked the best from the previously mentioned album and takes it to new heights. Instead of combining all the different elements from different genres, almost each song on the album has its own style that's either within Melodic Death Metal or Death Metal genre.
The album follows the structure of interchanging between one melodic death metal track and one death metal track, giving the album lots of variety and keeping the listener interested and invested.
On the heavier Death Metal tracks, the biggest influence on those songs is clear... Gojira, while Melodic Death Metal songs are influenced by such bands as Insomnium, Harakiri For The Sky, Katatonia, At The Gates, ...
Themes and lyrics are no longer specifically about Dark Souls and the lore behind it (but references still remain), but rather focused on personal issues, nihilism and inspired by different media (Hannibalize and Cerebrum)
