I Was There
A governor’s wife and a dream that changes history; a bystander forced to carry a cross; a Roman Centurion declares Jesus “the Son of God”; a wealthy man’s courageous ask for a body, and a beloved disciple’s witness of a savior’s death and an empty tomb.
You see, these individuals, they weren't the main show, not the headliners, but they played pivotal roles in the most significant event in human history. And their unique perspectives? Well, they shed light on how we can find ourselves and participate in the Easter story. Our faith, our actions, and our devotion, they matter to God. Throughout this series we will be focusing on some lesser-known figures of the Easter story. Their faith, courage, and devotion demonstrate how even the seemingly ordinary can become extraordinary when touched by the resurrection of Jesus and inspire us to seek and share the hope and redemption that Easter brings in our own lives.
We exist to inspire people to know, love, and follow Jesus.
