How to make steamed dumplings from scratch at home & homemade dough without egg, filling step by step tutorial.

In this video I want to show you "How to make steamed dumplings
First, we are going to make dough.
This is all purpose flour.
We add 1 bowl of flour and 1 tab spoon salt.
Now we are adding a little more than a half cup water .
It's a regular water. It's not warm. We just took from the bottle.
We add oil.
We just need to add the appropriate amount of flour according to the water we added to make the dough.
Make dough not very soft and not very hard, so you can work with it easily.
It looks better now, but we still need to work on it until all the small parts go away.
Here is how our dough looks now. We put some flour on the wooden board, so the dough doesn't stick to it.
We've been doing it for 3-4 minutes and it's almost ready.
Our dough is ready, we just need to cover it and go make the filling.
For filling I use 2 potatoes, 2 huge onions and beef meat.
We just need to cut everything in small dices.
When you eat, you don't eat a whole piece of potato, whole piece of onion. Like this it tastes much better.
We diced more than the half of the meat. We are going to put some salt. I am using regular iodized salt.
And I use for everything olive oil, but you can use any cooking oil, just to add extra taste and flavor.
Always add onions. Onions give juice to the filling. When dumplings are ready, they are going to be so juicy. If you put less onions, the dumplings are going to be very dry.
Let's mix everything.
When you mix it, don't squeeze onions, because onion will give juice and the filling will have a lot of water.
Just mix it lightly.
We add cumin seeds. It gives a very good taste to our dumplings. And we are going to add some olive oil.
Our filling is ready.
Now we need to roll out our dough.
We need to put some flour so it doesn't stick to the wood board,
Start rolling it out. We are going to do it until it gets big, very flat and thin.
We also don't forget to put some flour on top when we roll it out.
Now we just need to cut it, so we can form our dumpling.
Take one full tablespoon of filling and put it on the square shaped dough. Guys let me show you "how to close form dumplings".
Take 2 ends, 2 opposite corners and stick them.
Then take 2 other opposite corners and stick them.
You can close from this side or this side. It doesn't matter.
And stick them here together. Ready. One more dumpling.
Take the two ends and stick them together, then these two ends also stick together.
Then take these two ends and stick them together.
The dumpling will not open. And everything will be steamed and look exactly same like this.
The dumpling is ready.
Before we place our dumpling here on the tier, we need to put spread some oil, so they don't stick to it.
I am going to put some oil on my hand and spread it. Then it will be very easy to remove them.
Then put all the dumplings on the tier.
Don't stick them together. Because while cooking they will get bigger.
Just leave some space between.
Place all dumplings on tiers and put them in the steamer and cover it, and look at the time.
We are going to steam dumplings for 40 minutes.
After 40 minutes. Our dumplings are ready.
We open the cover so the steam goes away, because it's too hot.
