EA's stock had quite the roller coaster after the release of Apex Legends. At first, it fell over 15% thanks to poor Q3 results and a heavy miss on guidance for Q4. However, this fall was short-lived as hype for Apex Legends flooded the market and sell-side equity research analysts began reporting on the potential the game had. In this video, I'll discuss this particular situation and how it goes against the whole concept of the "Efficient Market Hypothesis."
