Virtual Attainᵀᴹ CryENGINE® open architecture allows the use or integration of any motion tracking systems to provide input for training and simulations.
This concept demonstration uses different motion tracking devices together to train Navy crew members in a virtual environment. With the Microsoft Kinect® being used to track a full body skeleton, one to one motion tracking is used to provide the base movement of a Landing Signal Officer and to interpret command gestures. In addition to the Kinect®, Nintendo Wii Remoteᵀᴹ are used to enhance fine arm movement and provide button input into the virtual environment.
