Sam Smith - Keynote – A Personal Story: Joining the WordPress Community
There are many people that are curious about making a career with WordPress, but don’t know where to begin. It can be difficult and overwhelming to try and make sense of all the information that is out there.
Sam went from being a Firefighter/Paramedic to being a self-taught website developer and digital marketer. He is working part-time at a web design agency, and on his way to a career with WordPress. He is going to tell his story and provide a guide for those interested in using WordPress to make a living.
Speaker Bio:
Sam is currently a Firefighter Paramedic who, for the past year, has been using WordPress to leverage a side gig. He works part-time for an agency, CE Squared, as a Web Developer and Digital Marketer. When Sam isn’t driving a firetruck he is creating and maintaining websites for clients. His goal is to continue learning as much as he can about WordPress and to give back to the community that has helped him so much.
