Halo Lekgolo in Marathon?

This clip demonstrates a similarity between strange long beige features seen on the static hunters in the first Marathon game, with the Lekgolo worms associated with the Hunters from Halo via a scene from the Halo 2 Anniversary terminals. The two Hunters have a lot in common beyond this simple comparison between the Halo and Marathon franchises.
