Wildwood Flower
My papaw recently passed away. He asked me to play Wildwood Flower every time I saw him after I learned to play guitar. He told me it reminded him of my great grandmother. This one is for you papaw.
I recorded this in E (capo 4 - C position) because that is where I believe it is on The Carter Family recordings. It also seems to be in E on the Tone Poems album by Tony Rice and David Grisman.
It seems there are many ways to explore cross picking and so much to learn.
I recorded this on my iPhone, but didn't use my external mic this time.
