Eothas Returns! Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Gameplay #2
THE WATCHER HAS RETURNED TO THE WORLD OF THE LIVING! After the catastrophic destruction of Caed Nua by the titan Eothas, our journey takes us to the dangerous and beautiful Deadfire Archipelago. As the newly appointed Herald of Berath, we must track down a god while surviving the perils of the sea.
In this episode, we wake up on the ship known as the Defiant and reunite with our old friend Eder. We quickly learn the grim reality of what happened to our home and the souls consumed by the rising statue. The peace is short-lived, however, as pirates descend upon our sloop, leading to an intense deck-side skirmish where we show off our sharpshooting skills.
Nature proves to be an even deadlier foe than pirates when a massive storm runs us aground. We face our first major choice involving the life of a loyal crew member versus the last remnants of our lost keep. Now stranded on a mysterious beach, we must gather the survivors and figure out our next move. We also take a moment to customize Eder as a Swashbuckler to prepare for the difficult fights ahead!
