In this weeks archaeology news, A Maeshowe, a type of chambered burial tomb was found in Scotland along with 14 skeletons. In the Arctic Circle, researchers have discovered evidence of one of the farthest northern stone age cemeteries based on the red ochre found in some of the pits (despite no remains), and in Poland, bronze age axes, assumed to be buried purposefully, were found in good condition under less than 12 inches of soil.
