Behind the Scenes of both photo shoot & editing process of baby Mason in his mum's hands. Occasionally I get asked "Isn't it dangerous holding the baby up in the air like that?" and my answer is yes, yes it is, which is why it's important to never try to photograph a newborn baby in such a way.
As you'll see from the video, baby Mason is safely positioned on a posing pod, and with the help of some perspective shooting and some good editing, the illusion that mum is holding baby Mason in the air is born.
This video also helps demonstrate just how much work can go into editing a single image, being a photographer does not mean we simply take pictures all day, it can be a tedious and time consuming process.
