How to make something out of nothing.
In this video I have a taken a series of images from my attempt at some sibling shots during a recent session, little miss was shy and we couldn't get a smile from her, even eye contact was a challenge, but her little brother was a challenge of his own, only settling when being held/fed by his mum, after a few attempts at getting 'that shot', it was because obvious that it wasn't going to happen.
But..
I felt I had captured enough to at least try and create 'that shot', mum and dad really wanted at least one, so I made it my duty to make that happen.
I used just 3 different images to create this portrait;
Image 1; Base image, clear body, sharp eyes, hand & no obstructions
Image 2; Little miss's head, eye contact (slightly soft)
Image 3; Little man (perfect positioning)
The hand was by far the trickiest part of the edit, having to create the shadowing from scratch. The edit took me a little over 1 hour.
