We see a lot on our journey's through Africa, but seldom do we see such a pitiful sight. A sightless zebra, most likely blinded by the venom of a Mozambique spitting cobra, disoriented and running in circles. Her body torn and broken by crashing into trees as she tries to escape the unseen threat, her flight instinct reduced to pirouettes in the sand. Anti-hunters claiming they care for animals would let Nature take its course in the form of death from disease, starvation, or being eaten by hyenas and vultures. But the hunter whom the antis say are so cruel takes a different tact. A well-placed bullet from the Umarex Hammer 50 caliber air gun provides a quick and ethical death, and at the same time, providing healthy protein for indigenous Africans.
Our story takes place with the luxury safari outfit Matswani Safaris in South Africa.
