It Means Beautiful - 12 Gays of Christmas charity cover
We're back baby! This was my back-up choice of song, and then this was my back-up video plan to go with that song but DOESN'T MATTER WE MADE IT!
The theme this year was ALL OF THE GENDERS and this is a song from the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, which is about a 16 year old kid called Jamie who initially wants to go to his prom night in drag and eventually decides to go just as himself. Of course, 'as himself' still entails wearing a beautiful prom dress, but as Jamie, not as drag queen Mimi Me. This song marks the start of that transition for Jamie, when his best friend Pritti talks him through what she thinks it means to be herself.
And the line "a little bit of glitter in the grey" kind of forced me to put my Christmas tree up.
